Update on the OverDrive & Libby apps
Attention, OverDrive app users! OverDrive is discontinuing the legacy OverDrive app in early 2023 and transitioning users to the Libby app. Libby is OverDrive’s newer app for browsing and enjoying digital content from our library.
It’s time to give Libby a try! All your loans, holds, and wish list items will be waiting for you in Libby when you add your library card.
Libby also comes with new features we know you’ll love, like:
- Tags to categorize books however you’d like—you can even sync your OverDrive wish list into a tag!
- A central bookshelf for all loans and holds
- Customizable notifications for ready holds
- Compatibility with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Sonos speakers
Brainfuse
We are excited to share a new online resource–Brainfuse. Need help with VA benefits, job searches, or even homework? Brainfuse is for you! The three areas of assistance are:
HelpNow – online tutoring, writing labs, practice tests (ACT, SAT, ASVAB, US Citizenship), resume assistance and more.
JobNow – help with job searches, resume templates, resume review, online coaching, interview prep and more.
VetNow – provides live help to veterans about VA benefits and benefit resources. Veterans can also find career assistance and help with college skills.

How We Can Help
We are still here, ready to help you whether it’s in person, over the phone or online. Here are some of the ways we can help.
Books:
-We can do curbside checkouts for those who need it. Just call us at 918-358-2676 or reserve online to let us know which books you want. We’ll check them out and bring them out to your car. Call when you get in the parking lot.
-You can return your books at any time in the drop box in front of the library.
Ebooks:
-You can check out books online through Oklahoma Virtual Library and Overdrive. Visit our ebook page for more information.
-If you do not have an account with us, you can now create one online and be able to check out ebooks. To check out physical books, you will need to come in to the library and finish the registration process. You will need to bring proof of residency.
Online:
-We have free wifi 24/7 that will reach the parking lot. Just accept the disclaimer and you’re ready to go.
-If you need something printed, email it to: print@jcbyerslibrary.org . Black & white copies are .10 per page and color copies are .50 per page. If you have questions, please give us a call. 918-358-2676.
As always, if you have any questions or need any help, feel free to come into the library, explore the website, contact us on Facebook, or call us at 918-358-2676.
