February is “Love My Library” month.  We would love for you to come visit the library!

Here’s what’s happening this month….

  • Crafting & Coffee – Monday mornings at 10:30.
  • Preschool Storytime – Thursday mornings at 10:30.
  • Adult Education Classes – Saturday from 9:30 – 12:00 or 12:00 – 2:30.
  • LEGO Club – Wednesday, February 12th & 26th from 4:00 – 5:30.
  • Page-Turner Book Club – Tuesday, February 18th at 6:30.
  • Tax prep with Crystal Kirkham on Fridays – call for an appointment, 918-762-3041 ext. 116.

The library will close on Monday, February 17th for Presidents’ Day.

Reminder: If Cleveland Public Schools are closed for bad weather, the library will also be closed.

Adult Education Classes

We are excited to announce that our high school equivalency classes have changed.  Classes will be held on Saturdays from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm and from 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm.  You can come to both sessions or just one.  No need to pre-register, just plan to attend.  As always, classes are free to the public.  If you have any questions, call the library at 918-358-2676.

Summer Food Program

The library is partnering with the schools this summer to provide FREE lunches to children 18 and under. We will be serving lunch from 11:00-12:00 Monday-Thursday, May 20 – July 3. We are excited to participate in this program and also help our community!

Closed For Improvements

The library will be closed from Monday, May 6th – Wednesday, May 8th for improvements. We will open at regular time on Thursday, May 9th. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Bunco With Friends

3 red & while dice surrounded by the words, "It's Bunco Time!" Hosted by the Friends of the Library. Benefits the summer reading program. At the Cleveland community center on Thursday, April 4th at 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Cost is $20.

Come play Bunco with the Friends of the Library!  We will meet on Thursday, April 4th, from 6:30 – 8:30 at the Cleveland Community Center.  Light refreshments will be provided.  Cost is $20 with all proceeds benefitting the Summer Reading Program.

Financial Fitness Classes

Join us for a 6 week class on financial literacy. Learn your fiscal strengths, managing credit and debt, and how to stay fiscally fit! Each class is one hour long, once a week. All attendees receive a financial workbook and calculator. This program is sponsored by Friends of the Jay C. Byers Memorial Library, FOLIO, and FINRA.
